ATU Local 1015 and Spokane Transit have reached a tentative

agreement on a new three year contract.


Article 14

Contracts


Contracts or changes in contracts shall be read at a regular meeting, special meeting, and/or an

informational meeting and discussed before voting on same. A seventy-two (72) hour's notice

shall be posted before the meeting. Voting shall be by secret ballot. Voting will commence only

after the issues have been discussed. Polls will remain open until 8:30 p.m. or until all votes have

been cast. It is advised that members, if possible, attend either the morning or evening meeting

before casting their ballot. The majority of votes cast shall decide the issue.


As per Article 14 of the ATU 1015 by-laws there will be informational meetings on Wednesday October

22, 2014 at the Teamsters Hall, 1912 N. Division St. The informational meetings will be at 8:00 am,

10:00 am, 12:00 pm, 2:00 pm, 4:00 pm and 7:30 pm. Our medical benefits consultant will be at the first

5 meetings to give a presentation on health insurance.


The ballot box will be open Wednesday October 22, 2014 from 9:00 am until 8:30 pm.

The ballots will be counted at 8:30 pm.

The voting will be at the Teamsters Hall located at 1912 N. Division.
