SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT

Assistant Business Agent Maintenance/Clerical Dick Lewis has offered his resignation effective January 2012. Dick will retire in the spring of 2012 and says it is time to get some of the Young blood in the mix to keep the Union strong and active for the next generation. Dick hired on at transit in 1974 and served the Union as Treasurer for many years. After transferring to the building maintenance department dick became the assistant business agent maintenance/clerical. We wish Dick many happy and fruitful years of retirement and on behalf of the members I want to thank Dick for his years of service to the Union.

To that end, this will serve as the call for nominations for the office of assistant business agent maintenance/clerical. The nominations will be conducted at the February Union meetings Tuesday, February 7, 1012 at 7:30pm and Wednesday, February 8, 2012 2012 at 10:00am and 4:00pm
